Z Space is currently accepting proposals for use of Theater Artaud in Spring 2011.
We take proposals and offer space based on the following curatorial principles:
- Preference is given to world premiere or regional premiere performances
- To build a season that represents a diversity of form and style in a contemporary aesthetic
- To partner with artists and organizations that demonstrate capacity to utilize the potential of Theater Artaud
Z Space books full week blocks (Monday – Sunday) exclusive engagements only. It is up to the artist to determine how many performances to undertake in a week, and how to schedule time in preparation for performances. Requests for multiple week bookings will be considered.
Block 1. February 21 – 27
Block 2. February 28 – March 6
Block 3. March 7 – 13 BOOKED
Block 4. May 9 – 15
Block 5. May 16 – 22
Block 6. May 23 – 29
Block 7. May 30 - June 5
Block 8. June 6 - 12
Bookings for dates after June 12 will be considered. Please note your preferences in the application.
In addition to exclusive use of the theater space and equipment for the week, Z provides house management and on-site box office staff, internet-based marketing support, inclusion in the spring 2011 Z Space press release, pre-production technical and staffing support, one technician during production, and audience survey / box office analysis post show.
Rates start at $4500 per week with additional charges for technical labor and video projection equipment if used.
Preference is given to non-profit arts organizations and individual artists. |
