It is understood that during sleep, the mind processes information we receive while awake: dealing with everyday tasks, solving problems and controlling our emotions.  At night the brain continues working but with one amazing difference, the censor control is switched off, allowing the subconscious to run free. Six dancers were invited to participate and were asked to share their own dreams and to generate a visual interpretation. Our goals for this new production are to create a “dream like” atmosphere while focusing on the quality of the movement.  The music collage, mixed by Yuri Zhukov, is a variety of different compositions from contemporary classics to electronic and digital recorded sound. We are also collaborating with Austin Forbord and his talented team at Rapt Productions to generate the visual imagery for the piece.
