AND SO IT BEGINS: LEVYDANCE ALONE | TOGETHER REHEARSALS
LEVYdance rehearsals for ALONE / TOGETHER are underway. Z Space is thrilled to have commissioned this amazing piece, coming to our main stage June 7th - 11th.
Directed by LEVYdance Artistic Director Garance Marneur in collaboration with visual artist Paolo Salvagione and LEVYdance company and guest artists.
This immersive and experiential evening-length work explores the moments when loneliness and togetherness run up against one another. Each scene is culled from the memories of the dancers, and features interactive devices that were developed specifically for this production by Autodesk artist in residence Paolo Salvagione.

A wild comedy and immersive theatrical experience written by resident playwright Peter Sinn Nachtrieb, directed by Jason Eagan and presented by Z Space and Lisa Steindler, Artistic Director.

We were thrilled to invite Z Space donors for the behind the scenes experience of this production. Among presenters, Jacquelyn Scott presented sketches for the sets, Callie Floor presented display of fabric and costume design sketches for the 1820′s and the 1890′s. Directors Jim Cave and Becca Wolff sat side by side at the edge of the table as Susan Harloe, the Artistic Director, presented a promotional poster for the production.

About 45 brave and eager souls volunteered to be “test bodies” for our upcoming world premiere play/experience A House Tour starring Danny Scheie, written by Peter Nachtrieb and directed by Jason Eagan. For two hours on the test crowd followed Danny through a number of different “pathways" and “rooms” of a mansion, as our amazing team of designers looked on and took notes. Nobody will look at butter the same way again.
