“We are all People,” answered Answer Woman. “Some of us have taken the form of animals, some the form of human beings. But we are all relatives. We all talk. We all have stories. We come from the same village, after all."

Greg Sarris, who in addition to being a celebrated author, is the Chairman of The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, has created a collection of stories inspired by the creation myths of California's Coast Miwok and Southern Pomo peoples, the sacred site of Sonoma Mountain, the plain of Santa Rosa, and Copeland Creek. Come spend an hour in the company of Coyote, Warm Wind, Centipede, Lizard and Frog Woman, and more!
