TICKETING POLICIES
Purchase In Advance
Performances at Z Space frequently sell out, so we recommend that our patrons purchase their tickets as early as possible. Tickets for all shows can be accessed via the appropriate show page on our website. All tickets are now e-tickets, bringing a mobile device or a print out displaying the e-ticket will expedite your entry to the theater. Our box office is always able to locate your tickets and purchase record by your name if you don’t have your e-ticket with you.
Purchasing by Phone
We encourage our patrons to buy online whenever possible. If you wish to purchase tickets by phone, however, please call Z Space's Box Office at 415.626.0453 x104. This number is monitored frequently during business hours, please leave a message if we don't immediately answer.
Exchanging Tickets / Refunds
Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled performance, please consider contacting the Box Office for a possible exchange (please email boxoffice@zspace.org or call 415.626.0453 x104 at least 24 hours prior to performance time.) In the unfortunate event of a canceled performance, we will refund the ticket. If you can’t use your ticket you can donate is back to the theater - please call or email our box office agent, or see an agent onsite.
No On-Site Ticket Re-selling
Re-selling a ticket for personal profit is not allowed onsite at Z Space. Z Space will not re-sell any tickets on behalf of the original ticketbuyer. . https://codes.findlaw.com/ca/penal-code/pen-sect-346/
Third Party Vendors
Though rare, a show at Z Space will occasionally sell tickets through third party vendors such as TodayTix, Event Cartel, or On The List. Depending on the particular vendor used, your seat may be assigned upon arrival at the theater. Furthermore, if there is an issue with your purchase, please contact the. vendor directly, Z Space’s Box Office does not have access to the funds used to purchase these types of tickets. Accessibility
Z Space’s goal is to be as accessible as possible to everyone. When buying tickets online, patrons are provided with an opportunity to inform us of any accessibility needs they have. Our venues are fully accessible to persons in wheelchairs. When possible, we endeavor to sell wheelchair specific accessible seating (some shows do not have any assigned seating, we still have wheelchair seating on those shows, just not a specific ticket type). If you have any concerns at all, either prior to or after purchasing tickets, please call Z Space’s Box Office at (415.626.0453 x104). Z Space is always happy to accommodate you and will seat you and up to three attendants in a special section of the front row when possible.
Z Space always allows registered service animals in our theater. For non-service animals, we love your furry friends, but please leave them at home.
Pricing Accessibility
Ticket prices vary quite a bit from production to production at Z Space, due to the wide variety of scope and expense of staging a particular work. If you find the price of a ticket for any given show a barrier to entry, check the show page to see if there are any community tickets or other offers available. You can also inquire at boxoffice@zspace.org. Not every production is able to offer discounted tickets, and those that do may have inventory limits on those pricing levels.
Group Rates
Special group and student prices may be available depending on the show. Please read all pertinent show information.
Sold Out Shows/Waitlists
Waitlists are started and managed on a case-by-case basis. Contact the box office to see if the show you’re interested in is offering a waitlist.
Seating
Whether a show is general admission or has assigned seating at Z Space or Z Below is dependent on the individual show and will be indicated when purchasing tickets. We typically recommend that patrons arrive approximately a half hour prior to curtain. However, because Z Space hosts performances of all shapes and sizes, this recommendation may vary from show to show. Late seating is available for most performances, this policy may also differ from show to show. General Z Space policy is to make every effort to seat late patrons without disturbing patrons who arrived on time. Late patrons will be seated by the house manager.
