Z Below is our 85-seat intimate theater located at 470 Florida Street (just downstairs from The Steindler Stage). Former home of the Traveling Jewish Theater, Z Space took over the lease of the space in 2013. Z Below is as personal as The Steindler Stage is grandiose, an ideal setting for language-driven plays, dramatic readings, workshops, film screenings, puppetry, and much more.

We recently installed a brand new stage! Z Below now has a sprung floor and is more suitable for small dance performances.
