Sharp & Fine presents the premiere of
I P H I G E N I A
October 23-25, 2026
Z Space’s Steindler Stage
2,400 years ago, a man wrote a play about a king named Agamemnon who sacrificed his daughter for the sake of a war. With I P H I G E N I A, Sharp & Fine blends dance, theater, and live music to cut open Euripides’s tragedy and imagine how the woman at the center of it might eventually find her own voice and ask: What’s the point of sacrifice?
Led by directors and choreographers Megan and Shannon Kurashige, Sharp & Fine is a dance theater company that uses exuberant choreography, original text, and surreal imagery to devise new stories, even when they begin with a very old, very deep set of bones.
