RAWdance's "Echo"
December 4 -6
on Z Space’s Steindler Stage
Inspired by the ancient, intertwined stories of Narcissus and Echo, RAWdance’s newest installation-style work dives into Greco-Roman mythology to look at our current era of proliferating reflective technologies. As we build and connect deeply with artificial systems in our own image, what does it mean for the way we see ourselves and each other?
Created by RAWdance’s Co-Artistic Directors, Ryan T. Smith and Wendy Rein, “Echo” features a stellar company of eight dancers, an original score by composer Eric Dietz, scenic design by Chad Owens, costume design by Mary Domenico, lighting design by gg torres, and production management by Jessi Barber.
