David Herrera Performance Company presents
Resurrection of Everyday People
April 11-13, 2019 at Z Space
David Herrera Performance Company, one of San Francisco’s most culturally equitable companies, premieres Resurrection of Everyday People. The audience immersive dance work is a healing exploration of life-altering loss and the empathy & strength one can develop through that experience. Brought to the stage by the lived experiences of our cast, Resurrection of Everyday People also queries, “Can empathy help mitigate the cultural & political divide currently affecting the nation?” The work features a commissioned musical composition by D. Riley Nicholson.
Guest performance by KAMBARA + DANCERS.
