Klanghaus presents

An evening of transparency

The work of Dani Robinson

March 20, 2017 | 7 PM | Z Space lobby

Klanghaus is a monthly event featuring local artists representing an array of mediums. Each Klanghaus has a unique theme, or a featured artist, or an experimental method of curation on which the event is built around. Through multimedia, performance and installation we create an immersive atmosphere in which to explore and experiment. We hope that these experiences inspire cross-pollination between different creative communities, collaboration, imagination and excitement.

This month we are featuring the work of local sculptor, composer and musician Dani Robison. Dani’s work is characterized by her use of recycled glass to create sculptures, stained glass windows, and jewelry. Exploring themes of the body, alcoholism and transparency. Her dynamic pieces are fragile, sharp, and seemingly timeless.

In addition to Dani’s work we will be featuring performances by local musician/performance artists Felix Astro Blade, JaqxEden-Marcel, Inger S. and The Showman.  Finally Klanghaus will be creating an interactive art installation piece inspired by Dani’s aesthetics and work.

We are very excited to be presenting this month’s event at the fabulous Z-Space and we hope you’ll join us for our evening of transparency.
